Reflection #99

During spring break, the amount of productive things that I did depends on who you ask. If you ask someone who actually does things and works and adds to society, I didn’t do much. But if you ask me, I had a lot of fun over the break. For the first few days, I just took time to relax after arguably the worst stretch of the school year (January-April). But on Wednesday, I went on a tour of Emory University in search of my future college. I thought it was really nice, but the whole time, I kept thinking about the 1400 SAT average the students there have, and the 11% acceptance rate of the school. I liked the school a lot, but I had to remember that Emory is a reach school for a reason. Then, on Friday, I toured UGA, which is a considerably better option for my college application. I didn’t like it that much at first, mainly because of the sheer size of the campus, but the tour guide told us that the campus is mostly divided based on the classes you take in a certain year. Freshman classes in the center, etc. And while those are the most eventful things I did over the break, I was playing through Fallout 4 in the meantime. It’s been a very fun game, when you’re not being jumpscared by a massive bomb someone shot at you from across the street.
